If we believe the experts, consumers may buy a carpet that is not beige or greige in 2017! Pantone, the US corporation that is the ‘global authority’ on such matters, has named green as its colour of the year. A fresh new start perhaps! If they are right, are manufacturers in a position to satisfy this trend? Some, like Kersaint Cobb, Brintons and Brockway are, but others might struggle. Are consumers now looking for a bit of colour on their floors?
Rather an old post I know, but having visited the Penthouse factory a couple of weeks ago and seeing a visual illustration of carpet ranges and colours sales, it certainly appears to be the case that Greens are seeing an upsurge.
