Alfred Smith and Son was established in 1811. We are a the oldest independent furniture in the Country. We offer a complete house furnishing service, specialising in quality carpets including Brintons. Axminster, Adam and Ryalux carpets. We are situated at the western end of the town centre on the right hand side next to St John's Hall (Town Hall).
