A logo you can trust

Everyone will have their own recollection or anecdotes of that age-old phenomenon – the cowboy. As consumers, we are often drawn to professional bodies and logos in the all too often misguided view that a certain logo or membership of a trade association is a badge of merit. However, a membership of thousands may sound impressive but it may also be a reflection of the joining criteria. Also, a lot of businesses join a trade association because they think the logo will win them more customers. Logos, and membership, are not, however, a mark of quality or reassurance.

How do you know you can really trust our retailers?

Because they all operate under a Consumer Code of Practice approved by the Chartered Trading Standards Institute. They are the only carpet retailers in the UK with the Code and they are monitored annually to ensure ongoing compliance. That is why there are just over 400 independent carpet retailers in the UK who are our members.

You can expect a certain level of service; sound, impartial advice – not sales patter; written terms of business; a written quotation – so there are no nasty surprises when the final bill arrives; your deposit is protected and there is a formal procedure in the unlikely event of a complaint which includes a free conciliation service.
